This customer had a beautifully covered patio area that was built when the home was constructed. But he found that he hardly used the area with the heat in the summer and cold in the winter. He also experienced high winds that made using the patio almost impossible. To solve these issues a Dream Room Patio Enclosure was designed and installed under the existing patio cover. If you’re like me and have watched the Wizard of Oz for years you’ll remember how the movie begins with a huge wind storm. Well, it fits right into the story of the movie but that kind of wind in Burley is just not all that much fun. The goal of this project was to take the existing concrete porch and roof and enclose them so the customer could enjoy that area without having to be tied down. Glass kick plates were designed for the front wall where the view is and solid for the two sides. French doors create a very inviting picture frame effect.
